Good news! Frequent international travellers now have a reason to rejoice. World’s premier global airline alliance, Oneworld, took Malaysia Airline under its umbrella on February 1, 2013. Oneworld now covers 842 destinations in 156 countries. On the other hand Malyasia Airline reaches more than 60 destinations in 30 countries, and with this alliance Malaysia Airlines will link Brunei and 16 new destinations to the Oneworld chart.
Not only does this strategic alliance enable easy travel to Malaysia but it also fortifies Malayisa’s connectivity with business centric cities across the globe. The Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, known for its warmth and tourist attractions, is now officially a Oneworld hub. That’s definitely no surprise at all considering a survey it as the 10th most visited city by international travellers!
With so much happening Malaysia’s national carrier has another feather in its cap with the launch of the Visit Malaysia pass which promises to shoot up the number of international tourists landing on its tarmac. Obviously, the in-bound travellers will get a taste of the world-acknowledged Malaysian hospitality too. On his company’s recent pact with the global airline alliance Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, group chief executive, Malaysia Airline is naturally very delighted.
Easy travel, comfortable journey and unmatched hospitality—what else are you looking for?
