One musical sojourn, five weeks, hundreds of artists and thousands of international visitors. From March 15, 2013 to April 14, 2013, Monte Carlo’s Printemps des Arts will regale the world with exemplary dance performances, music concerts and many more spectacular offerings. Art lovers across the world will be witness to the Spring Arts Festival, as it is commonly known as.
Marc Monnet, the festival’s talented art director, has scheduled over 25 dance and music events during this arts extravaganza. In its 29th year, the Spring Arts Festival will also have master classes by some of the participants. In the offing are some visual treats by visiting artists like the Royal Ballet of Cambodia, Khmer music, Congo’s Kimbanguist Symphonic Orchestra and the Voyage Surprise.
The Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and parts of the Monte-Carlo Opera will naturally be an integral part of this mammoth presentation. Given the diversity and vivacity of the Spring Arts Festival, art lovers from the world are but obviously enticed into this enchanting musical symphony every year.
The Riviera comes alive during the Printemps des Arts every year. If you are not there you are definitely missing something!
