The last time I was in Belfast, UK, Christmas cheer greeted me from every corner. Fancy decorations, lit up malls, dressed up markets and bright lights gleaming from rooftops–it was a festive scene on a grand, really grand scale. The weather obviously was not generous and did every bit to dampen the festive spirit but the Christmas season won every single day. All roads led to the Christmas market, especially every evening where food, fun and fiesta ruled! The Belfast City Hall was the centre of attraction with a tall Christmas tree wrapped ornamentally in different colours of light tried to kiss the dome. You’ll see some of those images in another post very soon. Well, the point is, how will it be this time? Well, at this time of the year, the weather promises to be bright and welcoming… And I hope it stays that way!
